Itinerary
- Arrival in Tbilisi: Upon arrival in Georgia's vibrant capital, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.
- City Overview: Tbilisi, nestled along both banks of the Mtkvari River, is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The name "Tbilisi" comes from the Old Georgian word meaning "warm." Archaeological evidence dates human settlement here as far back as the 4th millennium BC.
- Free Day: After check-in, the rest of the day is free for leisure. You can explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel.
- Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Tbilisi.
- Breakfast at the Hotel: Start your day with a hearty breakfast.
- 10:00 AM – Departure to Gudauri: We’ll begin our journey to the picturesque ski resort town of Gudauri.
- Jvari Monastery: Located on a hilltop, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers stunning views over the ancient city of Mtskheta and the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.
- Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Mtskheta: Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, this cathedral is an architectural masterpiece and holds great religious significance in Georgia.
- Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Reservoir: A stunning fortress complex overlooking the Jinvali water reservoir, surrounded by breathtaking views.
- Arrival in Gudauri: Upon arrival, visit the Gudauri Viewpoint, a perfect spot to admire the spectacular mountains of the Caucasus. You will have some free time to enjoy the scenic beauty and relax.
- Check-in: Transfer to your hotel in Gudauri.
- Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Gudauri.
- Breakfast at the Hotel: Enjoy breakfast before departing.
- 09:00 AM – Check-out and Departure: Head to Kazbegi, one of the most popular destinations in Georgia.
- Kazbegi: Arrive and switch to a 4x4 vehicle to ascend the mountain to Gergeti Monastery. The monastery is perched at a high altitude, surrounded by the majestic Caucasus Mountains.
- Return to Tbilisi: After returning from Kazbegi, we’ll drive back to Tbilisi for a walking tour of the Old Town.
- Old Tbilisi Walking Tour: Start at Europe Square, visit Metehki Church, ride the Cable Car to Narikala Fortress to admire panoramic views, see the famous statue of Mother of Kartli, walk down to the Abanotubani District known for its sulfur baths, and finish at the Legvtakhevi Waterfall.
- Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Tbilisi.
- Breakfast at the Hotel: Enjoy your last breakfast in Tbilisi.
- Airport Transfer: You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, carrying with you wonderful memories of Georgia.
